Undergraduate Academic English Modules
These credit bearing Academic English modules are free for students with English as an additional language.
They develop the core language and skills relevant to undergraduate study if your first language is not English.
They are designed particularly for students who have little or no academic English training and are less familiar with studying in an English academic environment.
They are especially useful in the first semester of study.
The modules can be taken as an 8th module or as an extra 9th module, with no additional charge. Most modules run in both Semesters 1 and 2. Further information, timetable options and registration on PIP.
If you do not need or want to take a module you could choose to attend one or more specific academic English support skills sessions.
