Undergraduate Academic English Service

The undergraduate Academic English support service is non credit bearing and provides free workshops, sign up tutorials, written assignments consultations and independent study resources in the specific language, discourse and skills you need to perform the more common academic tasks.

Academic Skills Workshops:
  • You can choose one or more of the these to develop the specific skills you need for your studies.
  • Workshops are two hours per week and begin in week 2.
  • Two timetable options are available for each workshop.
Tutorials and Writing Consultations
  • Face to face or online tutorials and writing consultations on your assignments are available
  • Information on how to access these will be provided after you have registered.
Independent study resources
  • When you register below you will be given access to independent study resources.
  • Guidance on using independent study resources is also provided.
