Course Design Intensives

6 June 2013
Garthdee campus

This is the second day of a two-day Course Design Intensive (CDI) event. The first day on 15 May focused on high-level thinking about the course. In Day 2 we will start by considering and deciding on proposals made in Day 1. The main theme of the day is Enhancing the use of Moodle in the first four modules. There is also the possibility to work on modules other than these.

Participants will be asked to work in small teams to design, and where possible implement in Moodle, fresh new learning activities and assessments that will improve the student experience. They will present these to colleagues for peer feedback and subsequent refinement in a process we call critical friends. A guide to what Day 2 might look like is on the next page.

In preparation for the event

Please complete the following small task as preparation for this event.
