Musical Means

What would a painting, sculpture or object sound like if it was turned into music?

In a pilot project Composer/performer Dan Goren seeks to set up a framework illuminating the mental processes involved in improvised musical performance using visual artifacts as 'scores'.

10-minute performances throughout the day, all around
the Museum. Including:

Sumerian King List (2300-2000BC)
Autumn Water (2000)
The Deposition (Van Dyck, 1599-1641)
